[Questions/Help] Ticket Purchasing

Hey, I'm heading to Japan in April and I'm having a little trouble navigating purchasing concert tickets. I'm looking to attend both SCREW's GO INTO HIGH GEAR Shibuya O-East final on April 23rd and one of D=out's concerts, either their April 22 (PALOOZA) or April 24th (Electric Lady Land).

I'm particularly having trouble navigating Screw's Get Ticket site located here. It says something about December to January 8th. Does that mean I can no longer buy tickets? If not, how would I do that?

And as for D=out's ticket site, Eplus, I keep getting error screens. Any reason for that?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, you missed the applications for the Screw tickets. There may be another round of applications for tickets but this one has finished.

As for D=out, you can access the PALOOZA show here -
http://eplus.jp/sys/T1U89P0101P006001P0050001P002035843P0030073P0006 (it's April 16th, not the 22nd). The Nagoya show on April 22nd (not 24th) isn't there yet. Ticket sales haven't started yet via ePlus and won't until February 12th, as it says on the D=out OHP. You'll need someone in Japan to get those tickets for you as ePlus don't post internationally and I don't think you can pay internationally either (it says credit card payments but damn, I've used ePlus over a dozen times and never noticed a credit card option when I'm asked how I'm paying. I must be blind.)

Thanks a lot for your information. So they do rounds for buying tickets? I hope they do another one since it's not sold out and I missed it by a couple days.

Oops. I meant the concerts on those dates. I was reading and typing fast. And huh. Shame you have to be in Japan for buying D=out's concert tickets. I'm not close enough to distant relatives and I haven't found a good shopping service.

Yes, I think that after looking at the Screw ticket sales again that there will be an proper sale. If nothing else, the Nagoya show on April 3rd will be on sale later.

It's very typical for Japanese bands to do different rounds. Typically, the first round will be fan club only, the second round is via a lottery system and then there's a third round which is either a lottery again or just normal sales. They don't all follow this pattern, but it's very typical.

I haven't gone into the small print of the site, but if they do another round, make sure that you can buy the tickets. It isn't just ePlus that doesn't work for international fans, most ticket sites don't.

A good shopping service if you need one is http://mukunoki-jp.net/ - that's who I used before I came to Japan and I never had a problem. I think his prices have gone up since then though :-/
